At Jagger's, we have (3) outdoor shaded "Pet Turf" play areas that are fenced-in for security and safety.  When it is too hot or raining, we also feature (5) indoor Daycare play areas for all sizes and ages of dogs.  Whether your dog is assigned to "Tiny Town," or "Smallville," or "Big City" or "Hound Town," there are a lot of things to do and several other dogs to have fun with that are similar in size and temperament.  We also have a special "Geriatric Village" play area for the older dogs that need to have their own milder social space.   Dog owners love it. We have plastic playground equipment that consists of ramps, tunnels, and steps for the dogs to enjoy in addition to safe toys that they can chew on and chase around the indoor and outdoor play areas.  We have a total of 5,600 square feet of indoor space and 100% Human Supervision is provided.  Our facility is fully protected by security cameras, motion detectors, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors. We are also fully insured. If you tour another facility, ask to see the security and safety measures they have in place.  At Jagger's, we take security and safety very seriously, which is why we have a trained staff member INSIDE each play group at all times, equipped with a walkie talkie and a whistle, as well as a pig board.  With a staff of (16) people, Jagger's is the only dog facility in Mt Vernon staffed and equipped to maintain this high level of safety.  Plus, cleanliness is a major priority.  One look, and one smell, you will know that we keep the Jagger's facility clean and disinfected for your dog's health.  We even keep the air clean inside with (5) commercial grade air-purification units designed to ward off air-borne pathogens.  We love your dog and treat your dog just like our own. Our three (3) outdoor play areas feature nearly 2,500 square feet of play area that  includes PET TURF Artificial Grass for dogs in each area.  Jagger's is the only dog facility in Mt Vernon with Pet Turf.  Our outdoor turf areas also include a sun shade over them in the summer, swimming pools, and doggie playground equipment that we sanitize.  The artifical Pet Turf keeps dogs clean, and is much SAFER than facilities which use pea gravel, concrete, or natural grass/dirt where dogs can be exposed to germs, fleas, ticks, and just become dirty. At Jagger's, the dogs romp, run, jump, climb, chase balls and chase each other. It's a blast. If a dog makes a poo or pee pee mess, it is cleaned up immediately.  Our facility maintains a very high level of cleanliness at all times, as the Pet Turf is sanitized daily with Wyshi-Wash which eliminates over 99% of bacteria and germs.  This product has been the industry standard in disinfecting Pet Turf  for over 20 years. We also have digital cameras to capture great photos of your fur baby that we will share with you and the public through our Facebook page and our website.  Our indoor play rooms feature clean Ceramic Tile floors that look great and are easy to clean and maintain.  These floors help the pets feel "at home" in our environment.  All dogs must pass a "temperament test" and be current on all shots/vaccinations from their veterinarian in order to be admitted to Doggie Daycare privledges.  If your dog does not pass the FREE Temperament Test, our dog trainers can likely help you with a solution, so that your dog can become a "social" participant with other dogs. In addition, ONLY dogs that are spayed & neutered will be permitted in "group" play and socialization.  If your dog is still "intact," your dog can still board, train, or groom with us, but there are NO group daycare/playtime privleges for "intact" dogs.  They will be play independently and be taken outside individually.  This is a safety issue.

Spending time at Jagger's Doggie Daycare will give your dog the ability to develop social skills with other dogs as well as other people (our staff).  This will help your dog be the best pet they can be.  Doggie Daycare can have a positive impact on the happiness, health, and behavior of dogs that participate. All Frequency Discount Packages are to be Pre-Paid in advance. There is No Expiration Date on Daycare Frequency Packages.  They can be carried over from month-to-month.  Ask us about frequency discounts for multiple dogs with the same owner.  These packages do not apply to overnight boarding services, they are for daycare/playtime only during normal business hours.

PLEASE NOTE: there is an additional charge for medical/medicine procedures for each dog.  Administering medicine (pills) to a dog is $2.00 per day and administering injections to a dog is $6.00 per day.

Dogs are assigned to the (5) indoor play areas in "Tiny Town," “Smallville,”  “Big City” "Hound Town," or "Geriatric Village" depending upon the size of the dog and their temperament.  There are also (3) outdoor play areas.  They include Pet Turf Artificial Grass for dogs, plus a sun shade cover for summertime use, as well as playground equipment such as ramps, tunnels, and steps as well as and some water pool areas and toys.  All play areas include 100% human supervision.  If you require your dog to be fed or given medicine while they are here, we can accommodate you.  It is preferred that you supply the food of your choice, although we also sell dog food and have a "house" food that is "all-natural" NUTRO dog food which you can purchase.  We also have Kuranda beds and platforms that dogs can nap on after burning off energy. Your fur baby will come home exhausted, which is good news for you.  Jagger's is now an authorized retailer of CBD Oil for Dogs which can help with anxiety, pain, inflammation, seizures, and tumor growth.

Please Note:
Written Proof of updated shots & vaccinations required from your Veterinarian.  This includes:  Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper, Parvo), and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). We also highly recommend the Canine Flu vaccine, but it is not required, although we still have our own dogs vaccinated for it.  Each dog will also be inspected for "fleas" and cannot be admitted to any of the daycare services if they have fleas.   We are very strict about vaccination records.  EVERY dog that comes into our facility for ANY service MUST be current on vaccinations  This policy is designed to keep your dog, and all the dogs safe and healthy.  As an optional cost, we offer a very good "all-natural" flea & tick shampoo in our Dog Wash area that can eliminate any concerns about fleas.

Each dog must also pass our in-house “temperament test” to be admitted to daycare.  All of these policies are to insure the safety and health of the participating dogs as well as our employees.  "Intact" dogs are not permitted to participate in group play.  They are limited to individual play.  If your dog is more than 6 months old and you do not plan to breed, we encourage you to have your dog spayed or neutered. There are many important health and behaviorial reasons to do this - ask your veterinarian.
